Pioneer Farms in Austin, Tx is hosting a event that might be of interest - Janet Rice

A Weekend of Unmentionables
(Ladies only)

We may not discuss those delicate white articles of clothing, but we do have to make them quite frequently. On the weekend of February 3 - 5, 2012 we will be working on taking measurements, creating a pattern and a set of unmentionables for girls and ladies. We will be using the instructions created by Elizabeth Stewart Clark for a set of split drawers, a chemise, and a petticoat.

You are invited to spend the weekend sleeping at Pioneer Farms and eating meals with us while we work on our delicates. Class size is limited to 14 participants, so you should R.S.V.P. to donna@donnalc.com as soon as you can. Your confirmation will include a menu, schedule, and a list of materials to bring with you.

February 3 - 5, 2012 (Friday - Sunday)

Remember that Pioneer Farms is open to the public all three days from 10 am - 5 pm

Costume required.

Limit 14 attendees

Cost $35.00 for the weekend (handouts and food).

There will be at least three sewing machines (treadle and hand crank) for use. You are welcome to bring your own.
