A guy up in Oklahoma wanted photos of the Tyler KGC flag from our museum. It appears in books, but only as an illustration, not a photograph. Unfortunately, that flag was only on loan to our museum, and it was yanked back a few years ago, and it is now in a private home. However, a number of years back I made a reproduction of it, so I pulled it out, pinned it up, and took some photos. If you look carefully, there are three words painted on the blue inside the golden circle, and outside the eight pointed star with Tyler Guards on it. Those words are Progress, Civilization, and Order. There is space for one more word, but that area had deteriorated so badly that I couldn't even get a clue as to what it should be. If anyone is a KGC aficionado and can provide the fourth word from another source, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The flag is beautiful! It could be a nice background to a KGC gathering and speech.
