Anyone interested in joining me and Vicki Betts at the parlor of the 1860s house at Texian Market Days at George Ranch on Oct. 22? We plan to arrive Friday and stay in the house Friday and Saturday nights. This is a nice fun, relaxed event and the site gives up a great dinner on Saturday night.

Apologies to anyone planning to attend, Vicki and I won't be there. We both have family things to take care of. However, since I'll be in Victoria I am going to attend the 150 conference at Victoria College that weekend.
