Historic Waco Foundation is presenting a year-long exhibition and educational programs centered on Texas and the Civil War. The exhibition is supplemented with artifacts from local historians and collectors, as well as the Sam Houston Memorial Museum, The Texas Heritage Museum at Hill County College, and The Pearce Collection at Navarro College.

Time of Turmoil: Texas and the Civil War can be viewed at Fort House Museum, Fourth and Webster, from February until mid-December 2011.

Supplemental displays will be set up at the other house museums for visitors to view.

Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday, 2-5 pm. Special tours are welcome and can be arranged by calling 753-5166.
