did the Confederacy issue stamps? This website doesn't show any. If not, as the war continued there probably weren't anymore U.S. (Union) stamps to be issued, were there? What then?

The Confederacy did issue stamps, of various denominations. My Dad is a philatelist, and has several of the different stamps. This site is actually an organization for the collectors of those stamps, and it should give you a good bit of information: http://www.csalliance.org/
