Shoe making workshop

Cody Mobley has agreed to present a workshop on shoe making. We are planning the workshop for to be held in September at Henkel Square. Check back often for more details as they become available.

No exact date yet; however, if you are interested in this workshop you might want to get "Every Lady Her Own Shoemaker" as this will be our guide. We should have a date by next week. Since Henkel Square is no longer available I will try to see if Pioneer Farms in Austin will be willing to host us for the workshop. Stay tuned.

September 24-25. Probably at Pioneer Farms but waiting to confirm. More details to come.

I've posted information about the workshop on my website at http://www.txcwcivilian.org/id225.html It might take a few minutes to update but should all be there soon. Questions about the workshop can be directed to me or better yet posted on this forum so all will get the benefit of the answer.

There is a change to the registration; part of the registration fee will need to be paid up front so that the needed supplies for the shoes can be purchased. I will have a PayPal option available on the web site soon. I'll let you know as soon as it's set up.

OK. Workshop webpage updated with online preregistration option. Also I was mistaken on the photos. The correct men's slipper is now up.

Deadline for registration is coming up September 1. If you plan to attend you'll need to get your registration, partial fee and foot tracing in by 9-1.

There seems to be a problem with the submission of the registration form for this workshop. If you have attempted to register recently, please contact me to check if it was received.

If you have mailed a tracing, within the past couple of days it is probably still in transit....if it has been over a week and your name isn't listed, then it may be lost in the mail. Contact Cody regarding the receipt or non-receipt of your tracing.

Registration has closed. Remember to send in your money and tracings ASAP. If you plan to stay on site, I'll send you an email soon about accommodations.

This was a great event I have finished one upper and am halfway through the other. Then I will sole them. Thanks to Cody for agreeing to teach us and Annette for organizing everything.
